I was invited to create the visual identity for the new Carl Nielsen Marathon festival, based in Silkeborg - DK. So, I based myself on a photograph of him from 1880 to paint this portrait. All the photographs I found of him are in low resolution, so I believe that this way we can bring to life some very rich material.
